Twilight Fun

So, yes, Sidni and I are fans of the Twilight books. You could even say there is a slight obsession. We've read all of them a few times (including the Midnight Sun Transcript). We frequently check Stephenie Meyer's website. We went to the Breaking Dawn Midnight Release Party - Sidni dressed up like Bella. We've had a lot of fun with all of it. Its also been neat to have something that we both - being 21 years apart - can enjoy together!

So, it was with great anticipation that we waited for the Twilight movie to come out! Sidni went on opening day - right after school with some friends who also love the books. (She was upset that I wouldn't let her go to the midnight showing on Thursday night. I don't know how she would have gotten up for Seminary the next day, if she had!) I went Saturday night with some of my favorite girlfriends who love the books, too. There were even a few who hadn't read the books, but I think they enjoyed themselves. We filled them in on all of the juicy details, ie: vampires are fast, strong, and most importantly - absolutely gorgeous! Sidni and her friends liked it so much that they decided to go with us again - so they saw it twice! We had a yummy dinner at Corner Bakery before the movie started - it was a fun girls night out.

I actually liked the movie - but, of course, the book is way better!

Luke's 3rd Birthday!

Yesterday was Luke's Birthday. We had some family and friends over for pizza and cake. Luke was really excited about his Dinosaur Birthday Cake. He loved the "bolcano" (volcano) and little dinosaurs on it. The funny thing was, after he opened his presents and we sang to him, he could have cared less about the cake. He didn't even take one bite! He got way too many presents - which was my fault, cause I can't help myself! I actually grabbed a few of his presents to re-gift him at Christmas! It was lots of fun.

My First Blog Entry!

OK - so I think these blog things are a pretty cool way of keeping in touch with family and friends! That's why I decided to start one of my own. I'm not exactly a tech savvy person - but this seems pretty easy. Please don't expect it to be spectacular! I'll just do my best...
